Special guest on today's podcast is Chelsea Nunnally, the new events programmer for the City. Hallow-Palooza, which includes a haunted house, truck-or-treat, trick-or-treat, pumpkin carving, snacks and event an outdoor showing of Hotel Transylvania 2, is scheduled for October 28 at Heritage Park.

The program, currently under way in Taylor, targets overgrown around power lines. DTE says that two-thirds of the power outages in Taylor are directly related to problems with overgrown trees.

La-Z-Boy will anchor a new multi-tenant development at 21300 Eureka, the site of the old Taylor Tool, which has been vacant for a decade and a half. City Council OK'd a Brownfield development plan for the site at its September 6 meeting.
