The City of Taylor's Planning Commission OK'd plans this week for a new BJ's Brewhouse/Restaurant in the Eureka Road-Pardee area. It will be built in the Southland Center outlot.

Host Dr. Paul Reeves and Karl Ziomek discuss the new development with Mayor Rick Sollars. The trio also talks about the wide-ranging developments along Eureka Way! including renovations inside Southland Center, the new Menards, La-Z-Boy and many other business developments.

BJ's will be building its top elevation in Taylor, and will offer outdoor seating, mirco-brews and uses local brew masters for many of its offerings.

It also offers a "Buy a Hero a Beer" program nationwide, so if you want to buy a beer for a local police officer, firefighter or military personnel in a certain location, you can do so. BJ's is heavily involved in the "Wounded Warrior" program.
